Pre Settlement - Proactive Commission Recapture: Commission Recapture is the practice of obtaining rebates of brokers' commissions where these have been negotiated. They are typically due once a certain level of business has been placed with the broker. Service providers may offer a Proactive Commission Recapture service, where they take responsibility for identifying rebates of brokerage commission where due and pursuing collection of these monies on behalf of their client.
