ISLA updates SFTR modeller
February 27, 2020

The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) has this week announced the publication of its updated report modeller for Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR).

ISLA says the modeller, last published on Wednesday November 27 2019, has been modified to include all of the latest changes to the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) released by the European Securities Market Association (ESMA) in January 2020, and represents the current Level III standard for SBL transactions and collateral reporting.

In addition, it now also contains repo fields required to support structured finance trades, and therefore supports all reportable products under its governance.

"The changes reflect the requests of our members, and the Association believes provides the most comprehensive working model of the RTS to-date," says ISLA. "Users are now able to create examples for all transaction types, ensuring that they are best positioned to meet their reporting requirements."
