This may require coverage of all key markets in one geographical region, of major markets worldwide or of major and emerging markets worldwide. For some, their client profile may necessitate coverage of exotic markets too.Service providers must adopt a rigorous selection and monitoring program for their sub-custodians. Comprehensive service standards should be defined in a Service Level Agreement. Regular review of service performance must be conducted and corrective action agreed on and monitored.
