INTRODUCTION
We are pleased to present key results from this leading survey of fund accounting and administration services.  The survey tracks the performance of banks servicing the GBP 3 trillion United Kingdom retail and institutional investment management market (with such services being provided from onshore locations or such offshore locations as Dublin, Luxembourg and the Channel Islands).  The survey measures customer satisfaction by means of questionnaires completed by fund managers.

RESULTS
State Street was voted the top bank for the first time in the R & M Fund Accounting and Administration Survey.  It pushed HSBC off its customary position at the head of the table.  For the overall rankings, the average score across all qualifying banks has decreased year-on-year.

CONCLUSIONS

The full survey write-up is a must-have for all users and providers of fund accounting and administration services.  It presents the key results and drills down to client satisfaction for each of 33 service elements.  For each qualifying service provider, a detailed profile is presented across these services - featuring gap analysis (contrasting the provider's performance to an industry standard), a performance chart, year-on-year analysis and succinct commentary on strengths and weaknesses.  This is followed by a series of league tables for each service element and, finally, a copy of the survey questionnaire.
