UMB Fund Services names Mike Huisman Director of Transfer Agency

UMB Fund Services has announced from Milwaukee that it has hired Mike Huisman as Senior Vice President, Director of transfer agency, which UMB says experienced record growth in 2019 with a 42 percent increase in assets under administration.

Huisman has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining UMB, he was the head of alternative product solutions at Envision Financial Systems. Before Envision, he was the senior director of software development and operations for DST Systems, where he worked for more than 28 years.

With Huisman's addition, Scott Schulenburg, who served as Director of transfer agency from 2015, is transitioning into a client relationship management role, where he will provide unparalleled client service to UMB's growing client base. Under his direction, UMB's transfer agency increased assets under administration by more than 87 percent in less than five years.
