Schroders is today announcing that it is continuing to build out resources across its buy & maintain (B&M) credit investment desk in response to growing client demand for credit solutions.

Schroders has appointed Daire O'Sullivan, Mervin Coutinho and Marco Conti as Portfolio Managers. The trio will report into Anthony Earnshaw, Schroders' Head of Liability & Duration Portfolio Management, as part of the Schroders Portfolio Solutions Group.

O'Sullivan joins from Aviva Investors where he was most recently Head of Liability Driven Credit. He oversaw a range of fixed income products across investment grade credit, as well as bespoke solutions for insurance and pension scheme clients.

Coutinho also arrives from Aviva Investors where he had been working on the liability-driven credit desk for 12 years, specialising in insurance mandates.

Conti joins having most recently been a Portfolio Management Associate at DWS, focusing on global absolute return fixed income and insurance mandates.

Teodor Stefanov has also joined as a Solutions Manager in the B&M Credit team, reporting into Ross Pritchard, Head of Liability & Duration Solutions Management. He was most recently a Solutions Analyst for B&M Credit at Axa Investment Managers.
