Deutsche Bank has today announced the appointment of Margaux Blumenfeld as Director, Head of South Asia Sales – Securities Services, effective December 2.

Based in Singapore, Blumenfeld will report regionally to Anand Rengarajan, APAC Head of Securities Services, Corporate Bank, and globally to Rebekah Flohr, Head of Securities Services Sales.

In this newly created role, she will be responsible for driving the business development activities with the Investors and Intermediaries segments, for custody and fund administration in the South Asia region.

Blumenfeld was previously at State Street, where she has spent her entire career since 2008, working in Toronto, Sydney and most recently Hong Kong as VP of Sector Solution Sales for the institutional business specifically focused on investment management, insurance and asset owner market segments.

Rengarajan says the creation of the role demonstrates the bank's strong focus on growing its securities services franchise in Asia.
