JP Morgan has made a strategic investment in Arcesium, a provider of middle and back office solutions for the Alternatives Investment segment.

JP Morgan says its servicing of hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds (alternatives) has grown substantially in recent years, with the help of Arcesium's tech platform. It says that today's investment really underscores this and that it expects to see far more growth in the segment.

It adds that this strategic partnership combines Arcesium's middle office and treasury solutions with JP Morgan's fund administration solutions offering clients more flexible models to integrate middle and back office operating models through the Arcesium platform.
