Admiral Group, the financial services intermediary, has appointed HSBC Securities Services in London to be its sole global custody provider across its entire asset range.

The Admiral Group describes itself as a highly profitable and fast-growing financial services intermediary. It now employs almost 11,000 people at its offices in the UK, Spain, Italy, France, USA, Canada, India, Mexico and Turkey. All its growth has been organic.

Admiral says that slthough its growth has been swift, some things remain the same as when it first launched. It is still headquartered in south Wales and it says it still holds true to its original core values.

It recently announced a record pre-tax profit of £526.1 million for the year ending December 31 2019 and a 77 pence per share dividend, to be paid on June 1.
