HANetf turns to Carne
March 12, 2018

Dublin-based fund management solutions provider Carne Group says it has been appointed by HANetf, Europe's first independent white label UCITS ETF (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities Directive exchange-traded fund) platform, to provide Compliance, Designated Persons, Global Registration and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) services.

Founded by ETF industry veterans and co-Chief Executive Officers, Nik Bienkowski and Hector McNeil, HANetf enables new entrants to access the European ETF market by lowering barriers to entry, reducing costs and increasing speed-to-market.

With Carne Group's support, HANetf provides a fully managed solution for prospective ETF issuers on an Irish-domiciled platform; including product development, capital markets, sales, marketing, and distribution.

Des Fullam, Global Head of Product at Carne, noted: "ETFs continue to be an area of significant growth in the asset management industry and HANetf provides investment managers with an efficient way to access the rapidly expanding European market."

Bienkowski said: "HANetf's proposition provides a seamless and low friction solution for companies looking to launch ETFs, based on deep knowledge and extensive experience navigating the complexities of the European ETF market. We are very pleased to appoint Carne Group to support our unique proposition – their track record and knowledge ensures our clients can be confident in a robust ETF platform augmented by the best possible technology, oversight and professional support available in the market."
