IMN’s Second Annual Hedge Fund Activism and Shareholder Value Summit brings together hedge funds, private equity firms and public pension funds together with investment banks, asset managers, corporate finance specialists, securities litigation firms, corporate law firms, advisory firms, and proxy solicitors for two days of networking and learning on current trends and the future outlook for hedge fund activism. At a time when activist hedge funds are gaining momentum, this summit aims to inform institutional investors on innovations and opportunities of investing in this alternative strategy, whilst commenting on the outlook of hedge fund activism. Activist hedge fund managers will also have the opportunity to discuss tactics and give their opinions on the developments of this unfolding strategy and its impact on shareholder value.
This year the Hedge Fund Activism and Shareholder Value Summit is part of IMN’s Fall Investment Series, an event that will include three other conferences— the Alternative Investments Summit, Foundations and Endowments Summit and the US World Series of Exchange Traded Funds West conference. All four events will be held at the same unique venue, the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix with participants invited to attend panel discussions at any of the conferences, thereby maximizing educational opportunities.
