US REGIONAL GLOBAL CUSTODY PRODUCT HEAD
My client, a tier 1 US Investment Bank, requires a suitable candidate to take on the role of US Regional Global Custody Product Head within their Global Custody Project Management team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Custody Product Executive and will have responsibility for running the product in the Western Hemisphere, you will manage and own the WHEM Custody P/L with revenues in excess of $1 bn. You will develop a WHEM Custody product strategy and deliver the initiatives that will realise this strategy, seek other ways to grow the business. Provide the sales and relationship management teams with quality subject matter experts that can perform technical sales as well as manage deal engagements, be the face of the product in the WHEM both internally and externally and keep abreast of the market benchmarking against defined KPI’s.
The second responsibility of the role is ownership for the banks and insurance client segments in WHEM. You will manage and own the P/L for this segment across the various securities services products, develop the strategies that are required to maximise margin, revenue and market share.
The successful candidate will have upwards of 10 years experience in the financial industry and exhibit a strong practical knowledge of the Global Custodian Industry and a proven track record of risk management and product management. You will have relevant commercial experience in a business, product or operations management role and a strong financial analysis capability. Communication and analytical skills along with a proven track record of leadership and people management are a must.
